Three pricing traps

First monthA $24 plan that starts at $39, or a $39 plan that starts at $58. Compare the 90-day total.
Domain fees$12.50 to $18 per domain at some providers, charged once or yearly on top of the mailbox price.
Rented accountsCheaper per month, but if the vendor keeps the domain you pay for a new warmup every time you switch tools.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a pre-warmed mailbox cost per month?

Between about $4.50 and $13 per mailbox per month on published pricing (November 2026). Most fall between $6 and $10. Bundled plans (3, 12 or 30 mailboxes) often have a higher first month that covers domains and setup.

Why do some providers charge more in the first month?

The first invoice usually covers domain registration, DNS setup and the warmup already done. Zapmail ($39 then $24 for 3), Litemail ($54 then $39 for 5) and Getlead ($58 then $39 for 3) all work this way, so compare 90-day totals, not headline prices.

What hidden costs come with pre-warmed mailboxes?

Domain fees ($12.50 to $18 per domain at some providers), minimum orders (12 mailboxes at Primeforge, batches of 5 at Instantly), and lock-in: if the provider keeps the domain, switching later means starting a new warmup from zero.

Is it cheaper to buy fresh mailboxes and warm them myself?

Yes in cash: fresh Google Workspace mailboxes cost roughly $2.50 to $4.50 a month from infrastructure providers, plus a warmup tool. The cost is 4-6 weeks without sending. The cost of waiting calculator puts a number on that.
